US Shipping — What to Expect

Here's a more detailed look at how domestic shipping works once your order leaves our studio.

Tracking email

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number within 24 hours of your order being handed to the carrier. If you don't see it, check your spam folder before contacting us.

What “business days” means

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. A package shipped on Friday won't move until Monday. Estimated delivery windows shown at checkout do not include processing time.

If no one is home for delivery

USPS will leave a delivery notice and hold your package at the local post office for up to 15 days. You can schedule a re-delivery or pick it up in person with a valid ID. After 15 days the package is returned to us — we'll contact you to arrange re-shipment (additional shipping cost applies).

Address accuracy

Double-check your apartment or unit number before placing your order. Packages delivered to an incorrect address cannot be recovered once marked delivered. Address changes must be requested within 24 hours of placing your order.

Rural routes

Deliveries to rural areas or remote zip codes may take an additional 1–2 business days beyond the standard estimate. USPS Priority Mail shipments include up to $100 of insurance at no extra charge.

International Shipping — What to Expect

International orders involve additional steps outside our control. Please read carefully so there are no surprises.

Customs clearance

Every international package must pass through customs in your country before it can be delivered. This process is handled entirely by your country's customs authority — we have no influence over how long it takes.

Duties & import taxes — your responsibility

Import duties and taxes are assessed by your country's customs authority based on the declared value of your order. These fees are separate from your shipping cost and are paid directly to customs or the carrier — not to us. The carrier may require payment before releasing your package. We are unable to predict or cover these charges on your behalf.

Tracking gaps are normal

Once your package leaves the US, tracking updates may stop for several days while it clears customs. This is expected behavior — it does not mean your package is lost. Updates typically resume once it has cleared and is in the hands of your local carrier.

If your package is held at customs

Contact your local customs office with your tracking number. They can tell you exactly why the package is held and what you need to do. Most holds are resolved by providing proof of purchase or paying applicable duties.

Refused or returned packages

If a package is returned to us because customs duties were refused, the delivery address was incorrect, or the package was unclaimed, we cannot refund the original shipping cost. We will contact you to arrange re-shipment at your expense. To avoid this, please ensure your delivery address is correct and that you are prepared to pay any duties that may apply in your country.

The delivery windows shown on this page (e.g. 7–12 days for Canada, 10–20 days internationally) reflect typical transit time only. Customs processing can add anywhere from a few days to several weeks depending on your country and current import volumes.
